The goal of this site is to help Sun see that Solaris x86 has a market that is worth going after, and that any lack of market that Sol x86 suffers from is due to Sun's (and therefore other companys') treatment of the product/platform.
We hope that from this, Sun will understand that there are a lot of die-hard users out there, IT and developers alike. And that they need to be treated like they are not the "bastard children" for using Solaris x86. Further, we hope to help Sun relize that Solaris x86 is a product that is worth really helping along (in the manner of Java, JINI, Solaris SPARC, etc).
And lastly, we hope to give everyone on the list a lot less to be unhappy about.
