My case and experiences: Start with BUSRA Changes these patches should offer: Diff of Onto the LynnSoft drivers: 2.0 Notes 2.1 Notes 2.2 Notes Diag script WiFi the pcpsm0 (wifi) driver conf User Contributions: Vendor Contributions: I'm struggling getting PCMCIA to work on the latest laptop I've been issued. The machine is a compaq EVO N600c. Fortunately it has an onboard iprb, identified as pci e11,98 or or 8086,1038

It seems to me the e11,4e Which is really the TI Yenta Bridge

Compaq EVO N600C Pentium III

I had two cards that should work.
- Network Lucent Technologies ORiNOCO
pcpsm pccard156,2
- 3COM 574 10/100
p574c pccard101,574

From the cpq diagnostices the PCMCIA looks like:
Texas Instruments
Vendor ID 0x104C
Sub Vendor ID 0xFE00
Device ID 0xAC51
Sub Device ID 0X000
Address 0x0218

While pcic is loaded according to modinfo | grep pcic No cards load up. I am not sure if it is a lack of interupts or it's just not seeing the cards.

The BIOS on this machine really offers no way of turning of devices.

An output from the compaq diags (under win2K) can be seen at:
cpqdiag.txt

According to prtconf it looks to me like Solaris is picking up the PCCardbus at e11,4c however I'm not seeing that device under win2k. I never did understand ths PCMCIA stuff.
