[s-x86] Permedia2 devices on solaris 2.6

Hi there

I want to use a graphics card with Permedia2 (ELSA Gloria Synergy) on a Solaris 2.6 system. This card or chipsset isn't listed in the HCL for 2.6 but I found a patch (105200-11) which says that 2.6 RECOGNIZES Permedia2 devices after installing this patch. What means to recognize in this context.

After installing this patch I wasn't able the find Permedia2 devices listed in the device list of kdmconfig. Is there an other way configure the x-system of Solaris (2.6 in this case). I also tried XF86. Well, it worked but I had configuration problems with a cad-software which has to run on this system.

Or ist Solaris 7 the only way out ???

Maybe someone can help me out ?
