[s-x86] cdrecord/scg with Adaptec 2940u2w

I compiled and installed cdrecord on Solaris7 w/MU4.

cdrecord -scanbus gives the following output:

scg is scg-i386-sol2.6.beta
(I have no IDE drives)

The first disk is correct, the second also happens to be correct.
The third and seventh entries are with no drives installed, and the
fourth through sixth are CD, CD-RW and ZIP-100.

Are there any patches for the Adaptec 2940U2W that need to be installed
beyond maintenance update 4?
Could I have compiled cdrecord incorrectly?
Is there a man page for scg.conf?

Any helps/hints would be greatly appreciated.
