[s-x86] Re: Shell stuff!
If u r root, it is not advisable to have ksh as your default shell.
Otherwise, change it in the .dtprofile file in your home dir, to source your
.profile.
For ksh command line completion, type
set -o vi
Then the combo ESC \ will complete the command.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [s-x86] Shell stuff!
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the Solaris group.... I've worked on SunOS and Linux in the past
and
this is my first crack at Solaris on an Intel machine...
A couple of things I haven't been able to figure out yet...
I've set up my default shell in /etc/passwd to be ksh.... From the command
line it works fine... But
when I execute CDE it loads /bin/sh for my shell. Where do I set ksh to be
my default shell
in CDE?
Also, could someone tell me how to turn on command completion with ksh? I
haven't been
able to find it in any docs...
Thanks!!!
...Joe
