ISA NICs are not supported any more.  A PCI NIC gives better performance and
can be picked up quite cheaply.

Soon computers will not even have ISA slots, which is one of the reasons ISA
support for add-in cards was dropped in Solaris 8.

Naturally certain ISA devices are still present, such as the basic I/O and
sound.  But those are typically going to be integrated in the MoBo now and
not as a plug-in card.
